EZ Plate color relief printing

This time, we are going to play with the EZ Plate split-color method.

First, engrave a master plate with a ballpen and carving knife, and then engrave a color plate. Use a knife to divide the plate into 3 pieces.

There will be small bumps on the edges of the cut sections. Please use fine sandpaper to smooth them so as not to affect the smoothness of the rolling ink.

First, roll the sky and water areas of the color plate with blue-green ink.

Then, roll the middle building area of the color plate with light brown ink.

Put the 3 color plates back together, print once, and complete the two-color printing.

Ink the main plate, and after the printing ink on the color plate is dry, overprint it with the main plate in black.
