EZ Plate intanglio & relief Simultaneous printing
Fabric Pattern Printing
A new way to play with EZ plate.
Use the intaglio & relief simultaneous printing technique to print the patterns you designed on towels, T-shirts, and other fabrics.
It is recommended to use a green EZ plate and lightly draw the picture with a 6B pencil.
Printing Process
1. Carving
2. Cutting
Use an Angled Gouge Chisel to cut around 0.5 cm away from the drawing.
Note: The carving should not be too deep, so as not to affect the color printing.
It is recommended to cut the outer area into a bevel first to reduce ink contamination.
Coloring the Plate
Fill the sunken part (dents) of the plate with watercolor pens or oil paint brushes.
After the color block is inked, cover it with a piece of paper and newspaper to absorb the ink on the surface.
The paper on the right shows the excess ink on the layout (the relief) being absorbed.

Inking the Relief
Roll black ink on the relief plate with a brayer.
Printing
Use the printmaking press machine to print the image by intaglio printing.
