樹脂板凸版製作──月光

打稿（Drafting）

利用覆寫紙將圖稿描到版上。若圖案有正反問題，可先在設計圖上用奇異筆描圖，反面再依透出的墨線描圖；或直接使用描圖紙打稿。
Use carbon paper to trace onto the block.

使用 6B 鉛筆輕輕描繪即可將圖案覆寫到版上。注意力道不要過大，過大的力量容易在版面留下凹痕。
Use a 6B pencil to draw gently to enable carbon copy of images on the block.
Attention: excessive strength will cause dents on the block.

刻版

重頭戲來囉！請找各式工具來「破壞」版面，製作不同的肌理效果。
Block engraving: please find various tools to destroy the surface and create textures.

臉部大面積的凹陷若用原子筆刻繪，會很難處理平整，建議搭配壓紋工具，或使用削扁的竹筷子來壓板。
It is difficult to level large dented areas on faces using a ballpoint pen. Line-making tools or flat-cut wooden chopsticks are recommended.

版面上除了刻痕，還會有打稿線條，看起來較為凌亂。個人習慣先用衛生紙沾墨汁塗抹在刻過的版面，再將痱子粉填入凹線中，方便清楚預覽刻版狀況。
In addition to the notches, there are drafting lines on the block, which may look messy. Use tissue paper dipped in ink to paint the engraved block, then apply prickly heat powder into the dented lines to preview the engraving clearly.

刻版完成後，臉部、書冊與手部的光亮處，為了更強調月光效果，直接以圓口刀刻挖掉。
After engraving, use a U-gouge to remove the luminous areas of the face, book, and hands to better highlight the moonlight.

上墨（Inking）

若版面上有以針刻製作的細膩線條，建議使用油性墨來印製。
If there are fine lines engraved by needles on the block, printing with oil-based ink is recommended.

壓印

小心調整壓印機的壓力，輕輕壓過版面即可，壓力過大容易將版材壓扁。

個人在凸版印刷時，習慣以 EVA（泡綿板）代替羊毛氈，細膩線條的表現會較清楚。

壓印完成。
